Program Description
Multiyear engagement of quarterly releases of development, enhancement, production support and service management roadmap of derivatives trading applications suite / platform for post trade Straight Through processing (STP). It is comprised of technological framework and STP business modules based on the framework. This platform supports worldwide derivatives business of JP Morgan Chase.
Architecture / Technology
Trading platform is built on process driven and peer-to-peer architecture. IPC (Inter Process Communication) mechanism is built on Publish/Subscribe and Event-Broker architecture using Sybase T-SQL DB. Applications suite is connected through IBM MQ-Series middleware with two ends of trading platform – upstream trading desk and downstream reporting system. Modules are built on Unix/C/C++ and Java.
Role: Manager - Engineering, Delivery & Operations
- Managed GCC delivery and operations for the IBTCP derivatives trading platform, covering engineering, QA, support, service management and continuous improvement.
- Led client management, test automation, escalation resolution, pre-sales support, and quarterly release cycles applying SAFe/Scrum/ART methodology.
- Driven financials, operating cost control, organization development / people management, governance / process efficiency and cross-functional collaboration and communication with stakeholder for delivering client values.
